Every time I have called for an appointment for my children i have recieved a same day appointment.

I feel the way the calls are filtered in the morning needs an overhaul.

I feel like all staff at both surgeries are very helpful and friendly and I have never had trouble getting my two children an appointment. The care is always appreciated.

Suggested improvements
I do not think anything needs improving, I think the callback system is a really good service that has now been implemented, especially with having young children and not having to wait on the phone in a queue.

Wanted an appointment with doctor receptionist said no I need to speak with physio did appointment over phone which is pointless physio put a prescription in Wednesday doctor didn’t sign it so still waiting in pain for my prescription told by pharmacist that it will probably ready for Monday so nearly a week in pain because doctor couldn’t be bothered to sign my prescription

Suggested improvements
See people face to face they say they are busy and got no appointments left but when I went in to see where my prescription is the surgery was empty and most of the lights were out

I don’t like the telephone on the day malarkey. When you finally get through to a human to be told there are no appointments left, call back tomorrow. Makes me so cross.

I’ve had a couple of issues with receptionists. Not doing things they promised.

Thank you we value and encourage patient feedback. We have increased the number of face to face appointments that our patients can assess, whilst maintaining the option for telephone consultations both on the day and pre-bookable. When all our appointments are taken our reception staff will direct patients to 111, this national helpline is open 24 hours, 7 days a week to support primary care. This is a triage service which then gets patients to get the right advice or treatment they need. All patients that are re-directed back to the GPs are then seen as extra patients outside of the appointments available for that day. Enhanced access is also available across Sheffield at evening and weekends at the HUBS across the city.

Physio listened and gave prompt treatment and exercise advice. Very impressed this service is on offer at the surgery. All staff at FoxHill were friendly and helpful
